Microsoft Azure customers now gain access to clickCompliance by Ímpeto to take advantage of the scalability, reliability, and agility of Azure to drive application development and shape business strategies.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil — January 31, 2020 — The software clickCompliance from Ímpeto is now available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Customers can now take advantage of the trusted Azure cloud platform and its streamlined deployment and management.

ClickCompliance automates necessary manual tasks to generate the legal evidence that national and international laws require. Brazil’s 2013 anti-corruption law established severe penalties for any company found to be involved in bribery or other acts of corruption. The regulation, aligned with the FCPA (the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and the UKBA (the U.K. Bribery Act), created the need for companies to develop advanced and structured compliance programs.

The more recent data protection law, the LGPD, that comes into force this year, establishes guidelines for compliance and data protection programs in companies. It also introduces a new agency to supervise these programs, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). The law is based on the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

ClickCompliance is integrated with and synchronizes with Microsoft Azure Active Directory, which makes it easier to monitor new employees, department moves, etc. Azure Cognitive Services are used to automate compliance help desk questions through a chatbot, providing valuable KPIs to help monitor compliance program adoption.

“After successful implementations in large businesses in Brazil (businesses with more than 5,000 people), we realized that the challenges are the same all over the word, since most laws share the same principles,” said Marcelo Erthal, CEO, clickCompliance. “We launched clickCompliance globally through Microsoft Azure Marketplace so clients can benefit from the program governance that a robust compliance program requires, and they can receive it through an Azure subscription.”

Using clickCompliance, you can control the acceptance and understanding of the company’s policies from all stakeholders (employees, suppliers, representatives, resellers, etc.). It’s also possible to monitor who has watched ethics trainings, to receive and follow complaints in the whistleblower platform, and to receive questions through a chatbot. Alerts can be configured to remind employees to accept policies or watch training videos, or to notify policy and document expiration, approval and more. Also, several reports detail who isn’t up to date with the compliance department’s requirements.

Sajan Parihar, Senior Director, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp. said, “We’re pleased to welcome clickCompliance to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, which gives our partners great exposure to cloud customers around the globe. Azure Marketplace offers world-class quality experiences from global trusted partners with solutions tested to work seamlessly with Azure.”

The Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling cloud solutions certified to run on Azure. The Azure Marketplace helps connect companies seeking innovative, cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.
